According to the Craigslist.org website, „Craigslist provides local classifieds and forums for jobs, housing, for sale, personals, services, local community, and events.“ Sometimes, though, people post weird, silly, absurd and ridiculous ads on the site. A lot of them are probably fake and posted simply for comedic purposes, but there are probably a few that might be true. Read this list of the weirdest ads posted on Craigslist, and check out all of the nonsense yourself!
Personal Assistant to Naturist Couple
A couple posted this weird post on Craigslist.org in search of a personal assistant, for at least 20 hours of work each rate at a decent wage of $20-25 an hour. Tasks include scheduling meetings, shopping, organizing their apartment, and so forth. Sounds great, right? The catch is, you must be comfortable with nudity, as this mid-30s couple often go nude while inside their apartment in the Upper West Side of New York City. Nudity of the personal assistant is not necessary, but acceptable, as well, according to this interesting Craigslist.org post.
Prepare now for next Christmas!
This Craigslist.org post is incredibly clever. It starts off, „‚Twas the after Christmas, and all through the house,“ in the style of the very popular Christmas poem „‚Twas the Night Before Christmas.“ The Craigslist.org poem from someone in the San Francisco Bay Area of California is unique and funny. The poster simply wants to get rid of some items now that the holidays are over – perhaps even unwanted Christmas gifts. Read this poem and be sure to smile!

Once Upon a Hanson Fan
This Craigslist poster was once a huge fan of the boy band Hanson (best known for their 1997 hit pop song „MMM Bop“) especially interested in the middle brother of the group, Taylor Hanson. Unsurprisingly, the poster has since outgrown the Hanson obsession of her younger years and wants her Hanson collection, consisting of VHS tapes, empty CD cases, posters and the like, to go to another current of previous Hanson fan who will appreciate this incredible collection.
It’s Jared Here, With Couch – Wow
A man named Jared posted this weird, yet funny Craigslist ad giving his used couch away for free. He didn’t just post the typical one or two liner ad for free furniture to pick up, though, he posted the ad in a hilariously silly way. The tone of his ad reminds you of the infomercials you see so often on television. This weird Craigslist.org post should make you laugh out loud.
